If you do not agree to the processing of your personal data as outlined in this policy, your application or request will not be evaluated. Please note that individuals under 18 must be represented by their legal guardians.

Application Evaluation

Your personal data will be processed to evaluate applications. This includes cases where you have applied for specific information, placed an order, or applied for a vacancy. Baltic Block retains your data only as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.

Application Evaluation During Recruitment Process

We process your and/or your legal guardian's personal data in the following cases:

  • If you have submitted an application for a specific vacancy.
  • If we have approached you based on publicly available job portals like LinkedIn or CV Online.
  • If we have received an application from an employment promotion organization, such as the State Employment Agency.

The data retention period is until the objectives for which the data was collected are achieved.

Application Evaluation During Internship Selection Process

We process your and/or your legal guardian's personal data to evaluate applications in the internship selection process:

  • If you have applied for a specific internship vacancy.
  • If we have received an application from an educational institution or organization, such as a project funded by the Latvian Employers' Confederation.
  • If we have approached you based on your educational information available on internship portals.

The data retention period is until the objectives for which the data was collected are achieved.

Collection and Assessment of Candidate References

We process your personal data to collect and evaluate references regarding the candidate selection process if a candidate has designated you as a referee. If a candidate previously worked or interned at Baltic Block, we may also collect feedback from our employees if you or your legal guardian consent to the feedback process.

The data retention period is in effect until the candidate's personal data retention period expires.

Fulfillment of Legal Claims

We may process your and/or your legal guardian's personal data reviewed during the recruitment process to raise, implement, and defend our legal claims. The data retention period is in effect until the investigation is completed.

Disclosure of Personal Data

To fulfill our obligations to you, we may disclose your personal data to third parties that provide us with services, such as recruitment companies. These companies may process your personal data only in accordance with our instructions and may not use it for other purposes. By law and our cooperation agreement, these companies are obliged to protect your personal data.
